As a runner you’re always looking for the best running shoe, aren’t you? I know that as a long distance runner, I am always looking for that perfect shoe.
I’m typically a neutral runner who prefers the minimal on my feet when I’m running and my favorite Mizuno line to date has been the Wave Sayonara; Wave Sayonara 2 to be exact for the longest time until now which are very hard to find. Although I absolutely love the Sayonara line; I’ve experienced some shin pain during my recent longer runs that I normally don’t experience during long runs or races.
I recently had the chance to try the new Mizuno Wave Sky running shoe and I must say, they are exactly what I’ve been needing in a running shoe.
The Mizuno Wave Sky is the shoe that replaced the Enigma, which I’ve also tried. The Wave Sky is cushioned just enough to give me the support I need without feeling bulky or heavy.
They have Mizuno’s cloudwave technology and the most u4icX foam of any other Mizuno shoe.
They’re still super responsive and don’t feel heavy or bulky which is a huge plus for me with a cushioned shoe. I’m also happy to see that the toe box is more mesh then closed off at the top with bulky material.
I highly recommend giving the Mizuno Wave Sky a try if you’re looking for a shoe with some cushion that’s comfortable. These are my go to shoes for long distance running as well short distance running including those runs that areReview: Mizuno Wave Sky Running Shoe required in crossfit.
